Funding for Dromcollogher Respite Care Centre and Brothers of Charity, Newcastle West

NEVILLE WELCOMES ANNOUNCEMENT OF LOTTERY FUNDING FOR DROMCOLLOGHER AND DISTRICT RESPITE CARE CENTRE LIMITED AND BROTHERS OF CHARITY SERVICES

“I warmly welcome the announcement today by Dr James Reilly, T.D., Minister for Health that Dromcollogher and District Respite Care Centre Limited is granted €20,000 towards the cost of funding and maintenance and upgrade of their facilities from Lottery funding and that €37,600 has been approved for the Brothers of Charity Services Newcastlewest – West Limerick Children’s Service towards the cost of purchasing the necessary equipment and furniture for their new state of the art building.”

“I feel very strongly that both of these services are very much in need of assistance.  We are all very aware of the wonderful support the Brothers of Charity give to people with disabilities and indeed to their families.”

“I think everybody from County Limerick and surrounding areas are now so well aware of the very caring “home away from home” environment that exists in the Dromcollogher Respite Care Centre and I hope that this money will help in some way towards the wonderful services and care that is being provided by all the staff working in the Centre.”
